It’s nourishing, physically, spiritually, metaphorically, to have the privilege of eating among abundance. At this moment, it’s high-end abundance, but regardless of location, the flow of beautiful foodstuffs is my favorite environment. So whether it’s a picnic table in a farm field or a shiny standing table overlooking Broadway at Prince in SoHo at Dean and DeLuca, I’m never happier, and I never lose my appreciation for it.
