Garden, Before and After 02-Nov-2011

While the mushrooms contemplate their (hopefully) upcoming existence, I dashed through the garden one last time.  Bless their hearts, the heirloom tomato plants are ragged, but the fruit hangs on.

The last harvest.At Sheltowee, I couldn’t resist bringing home a small selection of oyster mushrooms… yellow and pink.

So, a quick pasta dish with the last of the fresh Roma tomatoes, garlic and basil, a light saute of yellow oysters and steamed asparagus.  Less than 15 minutes, beginning to end.
