On Sat and Sun, I’ll be attending the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA) conference in Granville, OH. The OEFFA conference is Ohio’s largest sustainable food and farm conference, in its 33rd year. As of this writing, the Sat sessions and the Sat/Sun meal options are sold out; available only are the Sun sessions.
There will be workshops, exhibits and speakers on topical issues of organic and sustainable food. Woody Tasch, the chairman of the Slow Money Alliance, will be a keynote speaker.
Woody inspired the Slow Money movement… “The Slow Money Alliance is bringing people together around a conversation about money that is too fast, about finance that is disconnected from people and place, and about how people can begin fixing the economy from the ground up, starting with food.”
Many other workshops and educational opportunities will be available this weekend. I’m expecting the thunder-bolt infusion of great food growing technique and resources.
We’ll talk again after the weekend.
