Drop Back and Punt

Sunshine.  SunshineNo rain.

The flip side of taking a trip that unfolds moment by moment is the inevitable challenge of finding accommodations on a holiday weekend near an in-demand destination.  Instinct and, ultimately, trust in the advice of a stranger proved successful.  Let’s just say that the flip side of “rustic” only a few miles north of the Jedediah Smith Redwoods Park  in northern California is an ocean-front property.  I’m really OK with rustic when the view out my window is of the Pacific.

IMAG0336Next, when only one of my blog photos would upload, there’s Plan B, which is punting until the issue can be resolved.  The shot of my friend, to the left, was the only pic that cooperated.  He was hanging out within striking distance of some picnickers.  He was awaiting his next great meal.  We had that in common.

Fingers crossed for a technological recovery tomorrow.  The redwoods await, and creative imagery just won’t do it.
